The Humanities and Social Sciences

    HUMSS stands for Humanities and social science, a strand that is one of the Academic track of senior high school in the Philippines. People who take humss strand are those who want to contribute a role in society as well as to the world. Humss strand focuses on a lot of fields, along the line are Communication arts, History, Philosophy or Literature, Education, Journalism or Creative Writing and Social studies, and political science.

     Humss is more about paperwork, accompanying to that it helps to improve your critical reading, writing, and enhance your speaking skills, boost your confidence in facing and diverting people. Humss is the study of human behavior and society, it also occurs philosophy to helps us figure our curiosity about many things, a person who undertakes humss will become a researcher and allow you to have a research about human nature, society, even politics and many more. In humss, it helps to understand others through their languages, histories, and culture.

    Why should we take humss strand, it is because humss is the study of the world and the nature of human life, able to learn important factors and declaration to the world, and enable to know set of information you have never occur before. It has a big help when it comes to choosing what course you want to take in college because humss strands have many fields.
